Yes, it is normal for any battery to get warm during discharge or charging. Note that batteries should neither be charged at temperatures below 32°F (0°C ) nor temperatures above 113°F (+45°C) to avoid impacting battery longevity and performance. Do not charge batteries inside a hot vehicle e.g. parked in the sun, as temperatures can quickly exceed the specified range.
